These works are surrealistic perceptions of space and form that reflect the unconscious mind. Photographic images allow me the ability to warp the natural world through heavy digital manipulation, natural spaces transform into projections of dream like experiences. Dreams are something that we all experience; but one has little control over the content of those. What do dreams tell us about ourselves, about our consciousness? These images are reflections of a much more complex schematic thinking process. My intention is to broaden the conscious mind, challenge and inspire the audience to think critically about their own self-awareness. I ask many questions of reality and its constructs, of the differences between a dream and a waking state, and of the possible realms that may rest beyond the physical and the visible.

I've been exploring the relationship between man and nature. In terms of content I've always had a strong affinity for natural science illustration and portraiture. Stylistically my work is pretty much all line based. I've always loved the graphic nature of linework and how contrasting bold graphic lines with thin delicate lines can give you an ever-expanding range of tools to work with, and it's the use of these tools I look to explore.

Cyril Sancereau is a French photographer from Paris, based in Malta. A student of architecture and graduate of Beaux Arts de Rennes, Cyril specializes in architecture and landscape photography. His photographic work tries to document the impermanence and fragility of the landscape. Cyril focuses his attention on fragments of the territory, where the transition and the in-between are revealed. By deliberately choosing to distance himself from the photo essay on a specific place he keeps from his strolls only traces of the fragile and the ephemeral.

In my work, I evoke the unconscious mixed with observations from everyday life through paintings and drawings. Im interested where the brush gestures can lead the painting. This process results in images that are between figurative and abstract.

I use oil paint, charcoal, oil pastel, dry pastel and palette knife. I see my paintings as moving images, not steady landscapes or portraits. Formally, when they are not single figures floating, like individual thoughts navigating in our minds, they most of the time reference collage, with fragments of different moments. I approach them with a bit of humor, sarcasm, and positiveness.

Walking around France, Corsica and Belgium with only one little bag and my dog and my film cameras, I catch moments of everyday life and street scenes. Photography is my best reason for not having a full-time job.

Two months ago I found in my films folders a 2014 photo series that was not edited. I just did it and that's called "Everyday is a Sunday"

'Ensemble' - Time on your hands, thoughts on your mind. Bring them together, make something nice.

No heavy explanations. Just you, your ideas and wish to create. I try not to worry about the result, at least I try not to think of it. I just want to enjoy the process, express my vision. I’m happy to share it and if there’s someone who finds it interesting too, it doubles my happiness.

The concealment of daily and mundane objects under the pretexts of protection, safekeeping and such, engenders a new mode of representation that consists of the mystery of the visible... These concealed objects, appearing out of nowhere in nature or in our daily life, in an unexpected time and place come across as meticulously crafted or downright mundane so as to chase of a threat. The individual in the grips of fragility, protection or anxiety for one's possession enjoys watching the monuments of this selfish silence. Urging a desire to touch or explore in the viewer, these objects transform into surreal forms in our daily lives.

'The Portrait of 108' is, as shown, about the Japanese military sexual slavery women (or ‘comfort women’) in Korea. I want my work to stir up questions about our tragic past and human dignity, and portray the reflection on violated women’s rights as seen by men as sexual objects.

Grids is an experimental series of graphical poster drafts. The posters combine collaged holiday photographs and 3D-generated sculptures. While the content and materials vary from work to work, a clearly defined grid is drawn through every poster.
